In the ancient past, the legendary Beowulf epic plays out in all its brutal grandeur, heroes clash with monsters, halls fall silent, and courage is tested against seemingly unstoppable evil. In the present, a group of kids escape into Dungeons & Dragons, their tabletop adventures mirroring the events of Beowulf as myth and reality begin to rhyme across centuries.
